Telugu Desam Party MP JC Diwakar Reddy created a ruckus at the Visakhapatnam airport on Thursday morning after being denied a boarding pass for arriving late for his flight to Hyderabad. He also damaged a printer of IndiGo airline’s check-in counter which prints boarding passes. After the huge ruckus in the airport he managed to board the flight.
Just couple of months back Shiv Sena leader Ravindra Gaikwad beat Air India staff which made the Civil Aviation Minister to announce rules to ban unruly passengers from flying. After the rampage created by JC Diwakar Reddy, the airline said it was investigating the matter and will take action after complete investigation.
This isn’t the first time JC Diwakar Reddy created ruckus at the airport. Last year he did the same in Vijayawada airport after he missed his flight for arriving late at the check in counter. He was alleged to have barged into the Air India office and damaged furniture.
Already social media is trending JC Diwakar Reddy has #GoonReddy and demanding to add him in the NO FLY list of all airlines. The civil aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju who also incidentally belongs to the same party as JC Diwakar Reddy hasn’t yet reprimanded his colleague. Lawmakers trying to show their muscle power and threaten people for their misgivings has to be condemned by all.
