KCR keen to set up more 100 ft high Indian flags

A gigantic tricolor on 291 ft flag post was hoisted in Hyderabad last year and now it seems KCR is keen to replicate the same in all 30 district headquarters. KCR has directed officials to unfurl Indian tricolor flag in all district headquarters on 100 ft flag posts and make it a tourist attraction.

The project is said to cost the state around 15 crores and the officials are working on to come with best ideas and make it a major tourist attraction in every district. Around 2 acres of land which will be developed into a beautiful park would have the gigantic tricolor hoisted. Officials are also said to be working on making the project with low maintenance costs so that it will not burden the exchequer going forward.
